Low-speed rotary machines for slitting the tamper-evident ring and folding the inner flap on plastic capsules.

Pleat-slit machines are equipped with a variable number of heads according to production requirements, from 1 to 4 heads. Machine suitable for processing different formats, with rapid format changeover.

Attainable speed from 3,000 to 12,000 pcs/h.

High flexibility ensures handling of capsules within a wide range of heights up to 35 mm and diameters up to 63 mm.
Closure picking with tear-off picking; extraction with guided pin.
Slitting and pleating stations can be equipped with 1, 2 or 4 heads.
Possibility of excluding each processing phase to perform only inner flap pleating or only tamper-evident ring slitting.
Temperature-controlled cutting blade with external Long-Life treatment and quick heating (< 10 mins).
Format changeovers can be carried out quickly and easily.
Chute for the transport of slit closures from the slitting phase to the pleating station.
Pleating station with special cam-driven heads, controlled by photocells.
A programmable counting photocell is installed at output, activating a system to alternately fill two boxes.
